They would get applied last. So if you individually Color Correct a layer, that would happen first and the noise effect you applied to adjustment layer would happen after.
For noise reduction or sharpening, it’s probably better to apply that to the individual shots. If you have 5 shots with 5 different levels of noise reduction needed(or maybe on 1 shot not needed at all), you would end up having to create a bunch of hold keyframes for each cut. Better to tailor those effects to the individual shots.

What effect are you using, also what is the copy of text above your the adjustment layer for?
If you have too, you could skip the bounding box by precomposing (shift+cntl+c) your text. Then apply the effect to the text precomp.

Create your text, then go to the Layer Pulldown -> New -> Adjustment Layer and add your effect to the adjustment layer.

I can’t save any farther back than CS5, sorry. If you create a circle and apply the effect Transition -> Radial Wipe, it will achieve what you are trying to do.

When you say you want to reveal a circle, do you mean an actual circle, like a shape layer a solid with a circular mask or a solid with a circle effect on it?
To do that you would create your circle and apply the effect Radial Wipe and to reveal it you would keyframe from 100% to 0.

You have assigned 170Gb on a drive that has 153GB already. 170GB + 153 GB = 323GB. AE is telling you that it is impossible to use the disc with those settings.

AE defaults is set to start the first frame as 0. If you want the last frame to be 6 seconds when you create a new comp you need to change the start frame time to be 1.
You can change this at any time by selecting a comp and pressing “Cntl + K”
