Volumetric 3D, ray traced spheres in After Effects

This is a really simple technique I came up with to create real volumetric spheres to use with the After Effects ray tracing engine.

October 6, 2012 at 12:47 pmI have not tried it with CS 5.5 but since 6 and 5.5 share the same ray tracing engine it should work as well

October 6, 2012 at 1:05 pmThe ray-tracing renderer is a new feature in Ae CS6. There is no ray-tracer in CS5.5.
