    Thanks for the tips,

    @Ann
    I’m not quite sure regarding your posts. Can I have uppers and lowers on the same timeline (as your 2nd post suggests) or not (as your 1st post states, if I read it right) – or is the problem created when I bring in progressives?

    Thanks guys.

    I ended up using my screen captures for now, since I did these versions only for youtube and that was the quickest, albeit admittedly the dirtiest way to do it. Here are the results (warning: it’s catholic in content)

    Thanks William,

    The exporting is done and 12.000 copies are pressed as we speak (hopefully), but I’ll have a look at the quicktime export next time. My question about the lines was stupid. I was not aware, that the DV export settings were set to interlaced. I had thought that it would keep all those video files as they were (almost all progressive), but then realized my “mistake”,

    Greetings,

    Thanks Eddie. I’ll do that.

  • Thanks Eddie!

    That site had not come up in my desperate web search yet. I’ll play around with the suggestions and post here what worked for me in case anyone searches the cow for the same problem.

    Wow, well done. Was this done with the reshape effect? Would you mind posting the project so I could sneak peak? Concerning your second reply: yep, after posting I realized that separate letters were a must to avoid the problem I described previously. Still sparing out the “Mediterranean” is giving me a headache 🙂

    Thanks a bunch Ben

    At first, I didn’t quite get it, but alas now I understand your pointer and it works. Hurray! Do the straight lines; create the start and end point for the curve; drag their handles to the corner point (of the straight line); delete the corner point.

    Thanks again,
    Johannes

  • Thanks for the answers!

    Meanwhile I played around some more and realized that I would get my separate “ocean layer” if I key out the land by using multiple instances of the color key plugin. Since the the ocean was in one shade ( blue marble output from World Wind) that worked pretty well. So I did get it working eventually, but thanks for the answers. I’ll look into them.
