Premiere Pro CS3 – images (jpg…) turn black (randomly)
I have a rather large sequence to work with and it incorporates still images (jpgs mainly, but I tried pngs). They generally show up fine, but some of them would turn black, for no clear reason (in both the project window or the preview window) or become transparent if there is content underneath). Sometimes starting up Premiere anew will help. but that is a real pain.
The only similar Problem I found searching the web and this forum was experienced by users of earlier Premiere Pro versions. Supposedly this was fixed in 1.5. But here I am.
Anyone any ideas?

That site had not come up in my desperate web search yet. I’ll play around with the suggestions and post here what worked for me in case anyone searches the cow for the same problem.
