I offered the station to deliver a .mov with photo jpeg codec at 80% quality. They refused that. Ok, it’s lossy, but I doubt a .mov with no compression will be accepted.

As I read it, they ask for an .MXF container, with “Embedded mov”. Or “Embedded avi”. Or “Embedded mpeg”..????

But I will ask.

Bob, I would love to aquire the knowledge of how to deliver in .MXF. The point is, where do I get this knowledge..

Either way, the idea to record from premiere to a lousy dv codec on my camera.. seems way beyond ridiculous!

yes! got it

I put the texture in the color as well as alpha channel
and chose ‘generate alpha’ in the layerset dialog of the alpha channel

I do not have any third party I/O device
(I do have an sony HVR 1ve camcorder; it has analog output via component and composite)
