well that was it, mirror on desktop was not checked…took me awhile to find it…

the 1 thing I hate most about FCP, (and there are plenty, lol) is that settings are all over the place…

thanks, just needed another brain to pick…

and yes, rebooting fixed a lot of weird playback issues in 5.1 when we ran Black Magic cards, but the Konas are pretty rock solid for us…

if i turn external video off, canvas updates…turn it back on…nothing

ahh, i thought the sys prefs only worked on internal drives, not SCSI drives.

so if i eject and turn them off, when I turn them back on, are they recognized like firewire or USB, or do i need to reboot to see them?

not in front of the system to try it now…thanks!

well, it was the editing/mastering tab…should be on editing, but for some reason, mastering was on…editor doesn’t know why….oh well…thanks for listening!

that’s what I’m looking for…I need ammo for my financial guys to purchase some…we have 2 Smokes, 2 Symphony Nitris’, 5 MCAs, 4 FCPs, and 4 After Effects stations that can do HD, and only 1 HD scope…

“they” want to rent them as needed, but we have a 5 month HD project that will be on 2-4 FCPs, can’t rent scopes for 2-4 months without coming close to the purchase price…

I need more real world experience with these scopes.

We are a professional post house, but it is hard to get the right equipment to do the job at sometimes…
