  • error launching Color on new build

I get this error trying to launch color:

“Unable to initialize OpenGL. Make sure video desktop is disabled.”

where is the video desktop control to check if it is enabled? Or is it something else? This is a new install on a quad Intel machine. Everything else in the suite launches fine.

    TIA

It’s been a very long time since I have worked with Blackmagic products, but they used to have an extended desktop feature that you accessed through the Decklink system prefs. Turn that off.

Don’t know how it’s accesed these days, but it used to be through the System preferences, then there was a blackmagic pref pane in there.
