    Another consideration:

I have one land line which is used for my fax and DSL service for the web.

I wouldn’t mind getting rid of my land line at home though. It seems that half of all calls are solicitors.

March 13, 2008 at 8:17 pm in reply to: illustrator for use with templates

The last time I did it I printed the template then scanned it.
I then placed it in a document, printed and made adjustments til it was about right.

If I were to do it again I think I would try the following method 1st.

    >create document the size of the template
    >hit f
    >hit apple 0(zero)*I use a Mac*
    >place template
    >start new layer
    >place bus card(s) in spaces made for cards

    Cheers,

    Joe

This happens to me once in awhile when I repair permissions and run disk warrior.

My fix has been something like this:

highlight drive on desktop>do a get info>open details unlock and choose read write.

I couldn’t get the editing program to let me superimpose it over the footage.

Did you try to bring footage from your editing program into AE?

Make new comp for footage and drop name plate on top.

An option I use is to place a background image in a layout grid and then place the swf on top of it.

In Illustrator if you make crop marks you should be able to save for web as you want.
