illustrator for use with templates
Hey guys I made a business card design in illustrator and then tried to match it up to an avery template which was used for the business card stock I bought from them (pre perforated). However, I can’t seem to match up my design (using the rulers in inches) to match up to the card stock with it’s perfprations. Any ideas?

The last time I did it I printed the template then scanned it.
I then placed it in a document, printed and made adjustments til it was about right.If I were to do it again I think I would try the following method 1st.
>create document the size of the template
>hit f
>hit apple 0(zero)*I use a Mac*
>place template
>start new layer
>place bus card(s) in spaces made for cardsCheers,
