That is really easy Mike. Thank you.
[Mike Kujbida] “Double-click the desired video clip, right-click and select “Open in Trimmer”.
The video and associated audio will show up here.
You may need to zoom out to see only the desired (highlighted) portion.
Right-click on the audio portion of it, drag it to the timeline, line it up, let go of the mouse and select “Audio Only – Add Audio Across Tracks”.
Repeat as necessary.” -

May 11, 2011 at 6:50 pm in reply to: Render Options and DVD Architect SettingsThank you. I’ll try that tomorrow.
I have tried that today, and when I previewed I had some audio glitches (maybe nothing to do with that).
Will post back the results tomorrow.
kind regards

March 21, 2011 at 6:48 pm in reply to: Converting footage: MOV (XD Cam) to AVIJR, is GearShift compatible with vegas pro 10? I own several vasst products and I really like them.
[John Rofrano] “Create a CineForm template in Vegas Pro and render to CineForm from Vegas. You can use a tool like VASST GearShift to batch convert to CineForm if you have a lot of files.”

I have tried rendering the clip that contain the green frames several times and it always export just fine. No green frames or glitches which is great news.
Thanks to all of you that are always so helpful.

Hi John,
Next time I will do that. In this particular case it is too late: the original footage is gone…deleted a long time ago. The footage was done by another company and they were suposed to do the editing as well but then things changed.
Is there a work around to fix this?
Could I export it to another format and get put it back into vegas without loosing the edit I have done so far?I haven’t tried to export it to see if the green frames are still there…will check that out tomorrow and post back.
thanks once again
regards

Vegas can’t read the .mov files because they were captured on a mac.
[Danny Hays] “Have you tried just editing the .mov files?”

Steve, is there a way to batch convert these files to a quicktime format?
Will I have to edit everything from scratch? (this would be hell, its 3 hours of footages X 3 cameras.
thanks
[Steve Rhoden] “If possible, Try converting those files instead to
a quicktime format (eg:Photo-jpeg)….And test if
you still see hints of green popping up.”
