  • How to re-import video clip’s audio

Posted by Joao Carlos schwalbach on May 16, 2011 at 1:37 pm

    Hi,

After weeks of editing, I have intentionally deleted some of the audio clips associated to some video clips.
But now, I want to import the audio of these trimmed video clips.
Is there a way to do this or do I have to find the whole clips in project library and then trim it again?

    kind regards

    joao

Double-click the desired video clip, right-click and select “Open in Trimmer”.
The video and associated audio will show up here.
You may need to zoom out to see only the desired (highlighted) portion.
Right-click on the audio portion of it, drag it to the timeline, line it up, let go of the mouse and select “Audio Only – Add Audio Across Tracks”.
    Repeat as necessary.
