I’ve actually forgot to add one CRUCIAL point – I know I can export to multitrack MOV with H264 compression (i.e. your first tip).
BUT!
The resulting MOV file is largely incompatible with most video players (= something a client would actually use), as well as typical web video servers. It plays correctly (with all audio tracks) in Quicktime Player and Quicklook, I can import it to NLEs, but VLC, Youtube, mplayerx and every other app including Adobe Media Encoder just plays the first audio track.
In your case that doesn’t matter as there is only one audio track (a proper mixdown), but sometimes I don’t have or need that, I just need to export the thing with a specific language VO and probably a couple of music and SFX tracks. And that’s still seems impossible without going to ProRes first and reencoding from there.

If the only way is to drag a window onto secondary desktop, what does the “Video devices” tab that lists connected displays actually do?

Same here. Yes, when I follow these steps, nothing happens. It has been working before.

I had to do the “Scan for audio plugins ” thing in the Effects panel. That sorted it out. I don’t remember this being the case in previous versions, but I knew Audition has it, so I searched for it in Premiere and it was there.

Just one more thing – when I type a longer text, the box and text scale from center. I need it to scale from right to left (same direction as the box grows in. In other words, I need the text and the box to be right-justified). I tried moving the anchor points but I can’t really figure it out. Thank you very much.

I’d REALLY like this feature too. According to scripting supremo Lloyd Alvarez, there’s no existing way or tool to do this. I find this rather baffling as it seems like a super basic thing to do, but it’s probably possible to write a script for it. Anyone up for the task?

Ha! I have uninstalled/deleted some plugins I didn’t need or use and it started working again. Great.
