  • Select keyframes in multiple layers at time indicator

    Hello Creative People,

I really tried to find this one, but I didnt´succeed: I have 150 layers, and they all get keyframes in multiple parameters. What I want to do is to select keyframes at the current time indicator position across all layers. Do you know of a way to do that without draw a selection around them and waiting ages until that layer-window scrolled all the way down to the bottom?

Thanks in advance and best regards

Hi and thanks for your reply! I´m afraid, it´s not what I was looking for, because I never get all the the layers visible at the same time.

I see. Maybe the process could be faster by using shortcuts: Tilda ~ key to maximize the timeline panel + disabling preview Caps Lock.

Thanks again! For some reason deactivating the preview has no influence on the scrolling speed in the window :/ Looks like I need to be patient 😉

    Best regards

I’d REALLY like this feature too. According to scripting supremo Lloyd Alvarez, there’s no existing way or tool to do this. I find this rather baffling as it seems like a super basic thing to do, but it’s probably possible to write a script for it. Anyone up for the task?

how about going to the feature request page and asking it? Let’s make Ae great again! https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html

    Hi Dave,
sorry, I didn´t see that you replied, thanks for that. I was using the awesome tool Pastiche by Motion Boutique to animate 180 layers, and I wanted to somehow get more control over the whole thing, like indeed changing the timing, or just changing their interpolation behaviour at once. Most of the stuff I ended up doing with time remapping the subcomps then, but maybe you have an alternative in stock?
    Thanks and best regards
