Macvidcards.com sells a GTX980 4GB, however it’s over your budget at $835. They also offer a flashing service for $180.

Within your budget you should consider the GTX780 3GB for $499, or the GTX680 4GB for $450.

I am not associated with this dealer in any way, but have heard good reports. Since they are a Mac video card specialist I’m sure they can answer any questions you may have about using the proper Nvidia drivers.

You have added a second camera, but you are viewing the scene through the default camera. In order to not see the second camera that you have added to the scene (and are currently not using) go to the Filter menu of the View window and click on “Camera” to deselect it (make it invisible) in the View window (the check mark next to “Camera” in the Filter menu will be removed). If you don’t want a second camera (it was added by mistake), delete it in the object list.

One of the six plug-ins in Buena Depth Cue is Atmosphere, which has fog and haze effects. There’s a demo to try it out.

Unfortunately, the more detailed and difficult your task is the less likely you’ll be able to get help from a forum like this. People can answer basic questions, but it seems that you need a detailed course on rigging. Perhaps you should start out with some tutorials on rigging simple characters and then advance from there.

    Good luck

A quick google search for “rigging in Cinema 4D” showed these, plus many others:

  • If you haven’t already, try rebooting your computer. Other than that, I can’t see what might be causing your problem. Hopefully someone else can chime in.

February 19, 2015 at 5:04 pm in reply to: AE Camera Tracking to Cinema

Google “AE Camera to C4D” and watch some of the tutorials. It’s a matter of realigning the imported AE camera to the C4D perspective, and it’s easier to watch someone do it then try to explain it here.

    Hope this helps.

  • Mocha Pro is stand-alone only. You would do your tracking in Mocha Pro and then export the tracking data to use in AE. If you were expecting “track in Mocha AE” in the animation menu you are thinking of a different product.

There is Mocha AE CS6, which came bundled with CS6, and then there was Mocha AE v3, which was compatible with CS4 and had even greater functionality, but it was a separate product purchase from Imagineer. The current version is included with AE CC. But in all cases Mocha Pro is stand-alone.

    Hope this helps.
