You can make the project 16- or 32-bit float but work with the view turned down to 8-bit by deactivating float space display in the view button in the Canvas.

Choose the app you want to provide and send the feedback on the appropriate page.

Also look in the apps’ menus for a PROVIDE FEEDBACK item.

Have you tried exporting to an AIFF file first then running it through Compressor?

    Chi-Ho,

Things are fine here in ATL. Nice to be home after a month on the road. Am also pleased with the way my DMTS INSIDE MOTION 2 dvd turned out.

Have you discovered the Replicator Lower Thirds in M2 yet? Some totally cool title bgs (although they can be a little distracting at default speed. Tweaking the parameter behaviors helps).

You might import the folders where the STP SFX live so you can go through them as necessary in your FCP projects. They are placed by default in the Library > Audio > Apple Loops > Apple Loops for Soundtrack Pro > SoundIdeas and the PowerFX > Sound Effects folders.

Hoping to get up to NAB East. Maybe I’ll see you there.

Sounds like an issue with some of the behind-the-scenes code for Motion. Walter’s advice is good. Uninstall and reinstall Motion and see if that helps.

There’s a dim echo in the recesses of my brain that makes me kinda remember that there was also a conflict between Motion and (I think) the Wacom tablet drivers. If you have (or had) a Wacom tablet attached, try deleting its files and reinstalling the latest version after reinstalling Motion.

    Particle systems.

Or try creating some cloud image layers in Photoshop, bring them into AE and animate scale/position while using transfer modes.

I’m wondering if the original audio files are corrupted somehow.
Or maybe there’s an issue with file fragmentation?

Rebuilding in Motion 2 is sometimes the easiest course, assumning you don’t need any AE-specific features or plug-ins.

Motion 2 projects import nicely into After Effects though.
