The dvMatte plug-in is optimized for DV color (4:1:1) and handles the edges much easier than others IF YOU’RE USING DV.

Apply some of the different distortion effects and see which ones you like. Don’t forget to try time echoes and color shifts (saturation, etc.) as well.
Different drugs have different effects on the visual/perceptual system.

The easiest way is to create very wide layers and animate their position to move across the bottom of the screen. I would break the long subject into several sections to make it easier to edit and control.

Yes. you can output in a variety of formats which can be put on a website. The AE Flash output is not as efficient as the output directly from Flash.
Remember to encode using a compressor that can be read by several operating systems.

A render farm is a network of computers that act collectively to render images. The master system “farms out” individual frames to rendered by machines on the network which return the rendered frames to a common folder where they can be imported and reassembled as a video clip.

Behaviors are a great way to animate if you don’t need frame-accurate synchronization. You can always convert a behavior to keyframes to give it better synchronization.
If you want to work in keyframes, you can turn on the AutoRecord button (the red button at the bottom left of the Canvas controls) which will automatically add keyframes as you change properties on different frames. If you double-click the button you can get to the settings and have it add keyframes only to properties that already have keyframes–this is a safer way to automatically keyframe properties.

No you can’t. If you’re planning on working a lot with Motion you should bite the bullet and get one of the new Core Duo based MacBook Pros. They run circles around the older Powerbooks when it comes to the performance of the Universal versions of the FC Studio apps.

Create a new composition with the same specs as the first only make it a longer duration.
Drag the first composition into the new composition so it starts at about 30:00. It will behave like a single clip but remain fully editable.
Add whatever you need to the start of the second comp.
