I just started with the P2 workflow and so maybe this is obvious, but if you verify, it takes twice as long. Off the camera direct to hard drive it’s taking half an hour for a 16GB card, but it is set to verify.

Thanks David. Yes, Genlock is connected and we’ve tried various configurations. The problem is intermittent and unpredictable, but we’ve found a workaround. Thanks for the response.

I am also using the Sonnet X4P, so keeping it in the Sonnet family was attractive. The whole thing is going to cost me 1/4 of a Medea or RAID Inc. system, which was perhaps the main attraction. It’s a PCI-X G5. I just ordered the SATA array anyway, but wanted to check whether anyone had tried a similar set up. Thanks for the response.
