Data rate was 5000kbps and keyframes where every 60.

I guess I’m confused as to why you want to hit a target of 900 frames when that is in excess of the limit of a 30 second spot.

What you have created is the expected deliverable for a 30 second spot based on a 29.97 framerate/timeline.

Has your client insisted on 900 frames?

If so, the end of the spot will be clipped on the air- by that additional frame.

Multiply 30 (seconds) by 29.97 (framerate/timeline) equals 899.1 frames.

Here ( https://www.panasonic.com/business/provideo/scene_files_main.asp ) is a link to scene file settings for Panasonic cameras including the 300. Select that camera on the page> go to the drop down menu on the 300 page and select nature. That’s a good place to start for an outdoor set up. Take a look and see if it helps. You might want to tweak it a little to fit your desired look.

You can offload directly from your camera to your MacBook Pro via USB or Firewire. You will need to go into your menus to setup your camera for either USB or Firewire. Than press the menu button on the back of the camera twice to connect the camera to the computer. An icon labeled No Name will appear on your desktop. Open that and then transfer the contents folder and last clip file to your designated folder.

To work with your camera you need to Firestore FS-100 not the FS-4.

Jeremy,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. The only options I have to choose from are 720p23.98 DVCPRO HD and 720p23.98 DVCPRO HD Varicam. I don’t have the VFR option. And neither of them sent a signal to my monitor. I did verify that “All Frames” is selected.

Any suggestions?
