Hi Jan. I wanted to thank you for posting this expression which is exactly what I was after.

To make it work the other way (right to left), I’ve simply replaced the two “left” instances from your code with “width” (on top of changing the Wipe Angle property from -90 to +90).

Yep they are all the same length, size etc.

Ideally I’d like a way to somehow just input “47” somewhere and the precomp called “47” will automatically be the one used in the main composition… Hmm…

I think you are right when you’re talking about prism. But I don’t think this effect is related to a chromatic aberration though : the colors are not altered, nor is the quality, and the distance/scale between the multiple images is definitely different. I would say this video uses chromatic aberration : https://vimeo.com/10922419

Yeah I thought of that, but it seems really tedious and random to do it like this. I’m sure there is a plugin somewhere!
