Which version are you on? The latest version is 6c.

Vegas seldom informs us of pending updates but I can assure you that they are released with fair regularity – its one of the prime motivators for me using their product – they listen and work on the problems some encounter and continuously strive towards perfecting an already great product!

    Cheers

This can be done in Vegas.

What you would have to determine is the quality of the streaming and render your project at the correct bit rate.

    Hi Tin

A simple way of scrolling text like you would want is to use keyframes of the video event.

Create your text using the “Generated Media” selecting style, font and starting position. Then select the “Event Pan/Crop” function of the newly created media. In the Keyframe Controller, click to position the cursor where you want to add the first keyframe. Move the cursor to where you want your effect to end and then add another keyframe. At this keyframe, adjust your position of the text.

You can play with various attributes of the keyframe to give you the desired effect.

    Have fun

    Cheers

The Bezier Mask is still available in V6. It resides in the Event Pan/Crop dialog box.

On the left hand side in the events Pan/Crop dialog box, check the Mask checkbox adjacent to the timeline and then select from the mask tools available on the left hand side of the dialog box.

    Cheers

  • hi all

I feel like a right real twit

The answer was staring me in the face and I didn’t see it. Besides selecting to Not maintain the aspect ratio, there is also a selection for 4:3 in the pulldown which correctly displays the frames.

    Many thanks all

  • Many thans Dan

These settings worked – however, why does the output now appear “squashed” horizontally

    Regards
