I am quoting a job where they have asked for streaming is WMP, QT and RP.
Can I do this in Vegas 6c or do I need any other software.

    Thx

This can be done in Vegas.

What you would have to determine is the quality of the streaming and render your project at the correct bit rate.

    Thx Jeremy.
Are there different settings for the different formats – WMP, QT and RP?
    Thx again

    Hi Geoffjak

There are different settings. Look at the “render as” function. All are listed as pssible output formats with the exception of Real Player – must be honest and say I haven’t worked with that one yet. Each of the output formats are customizable by clicking on the “Custom” button and then “video”. You can then select the bitrates you want to render at

    Thx again Jeramy

With regard to RealPalyer, maybe that means I have to buy their software to render it out.
    Any clues?
    Cheers

have a look – I’m on my laptop right now, and have options for RM8 and RM9 encoding. I don’t think this box has realproducer on it, so I’m thinking that Vegas shipped with codecs for RM8-9.

Looks like real has now made their encoding technology open source. Look around here for some info.

Yes, V6 can render RM9 right out of the box. Why anyone would want to use RM is beyond comprehension, but the codec is there.
