If you do some more digging, cooling these processors in nearly any laptop configuration (gaming laptop PCs included) seems to be a challenge.

Ha! Yes it’s handy. It’s been that way since some OS update. It worked at the end of FCP7 too.

I’d choose the native (Shot) frame rate over the codec.

Either codec will work just fine, PJPEG was decent if you maxed the quality, but i’d be more concerned about going from 25 to 29.97. I, personally, would rather control that process.

But you have to hold option and use the “Go” menu from Finder to get to your Library folder.
