    Hey all –

Different gig, another curve. Client buying some very old archival footage out of Australia and the offer H264 at 25fps or Photo-JPEG at 20.97.

Not a huge fan of either option. Will the Photo_JPEG at 29.97 work better than the H264? Will X even see Photo-JPEG? Its all SD footage. Thanks.

I’d choose the native (Shot) frame rate over the codec.

Either codec will work just fine, PJPEG was decent if you maxed the quality, but i’d be more concerned about going from 25 to 29.97. I, personally, would rather control that process.
