Select all the clips and change the spatial conform to “none” in the inspector.

Some might say Resolve doesn’t have it fully worked out. They put the interchange capability in there but haven’t made it any better for quite some time. For a while, it was just plain wrong and making incorrect fcpxml.
Baselight got hosed in the fcpx transition. They had just finished their really cool fcp7 rendering plugin when the EOL was announced. Maybe it took them a while to recover from that emotionally. ☺
Glad to see they have moved forward, and I hope the fcpxml capability will make my finishing life a little less messy!

You need two libraries open, and the Event that you want to move selected.

And David, Joe is right, check your hard drive format or permission. It sounds like you may not have write permissions, or the drive is not formatted for Mac.

First, double check the media in the archive library is set so the media actually is managed in to the Library.
Second, have you tried the File > Move Event to “Archive Library” command within FCPX from the original Library with the Event you want to move selected?

Part of me thinks that there is still a step being missed.
Skip compressor for now and just use fcpx and share a master file.
In the export dialogue, after clicking the blue “Captions” button in the Role tab, and then choosing burn in captions from the drop down, so you see the caption option added to the video track?
I am not taking about the separate caption section.
It should look something like this:

Have you checked the Captions option in Roles tab of the Share export window and selected the appropriate language in the “burned in captions” drop down?
