We were pretty vague about our idea. In fact we didn’t give away any plot lines. Even our teaser trailer doesn’t really tell you anything.

I was part of a team for the project “Tilt the movie”. We successfully raised 15k in 45 days using Kickstarter. If you want to learn more about our successful campaign you can search “Tilt” on the kickstarter website.

    Here’s the trailer.

I haven’t had any problems with the viewer as mine always comes up with a resize option in the corner. As for my log and capture and edit to tape, I discovered that the windows are relative to my layout. So when I’m using my custom layout things are small like this.

But if I go to the standard dual screen editing size and the windows are bigger I get this.

So I can’t actually resize the windows, but if I change my window layout they can at least become more usable.

I’d still be interested to know if there is an actual way of resizing them.

I think I figured it out, but would still like to hear from other people to confirm my suspicions.

[Mark Suszko] “I think his lawyer had better be lucky, when all the cease-and-desist orders come in for the plethora of copyrighted music he stole for this project.”

With and estimated 700-800 million dollar revenue a year, I’m pretty sure he isn’t stealing much copyrighted music. And if he is than some lawyer is really dropping the ball because AC/DC has been used in his blogs since early 2008 and always credited in the credit roll.

Besides, why go through the effort of putting it all in a credit roll unless there’s a reason to do a credit roll?

Anyways, that not the point of why I posted the video in the first place. I just thought that some of his points were good and applied on how to be successful in business.

[Zack Massey] “I have a internal 1tb scratch disk. “

Your hard drive is fastest enough to maintain the data rate of 3 HD streams. You’ll need a raid.

How much throughput do you need? That depends on codec and frame size.

[jon smitherton] “You could just pull down the master in the audio tool.

If you like the mix you have, this is certainly the easiest and fastest way.

If you already have the creative suite and you are used to Adobe products, Premiere is easy to use and you won’t need to spend any money.

Dan is right. Any of the three will be fine. I’d use what I already have.

[Matt Frame] “G5 PowerMac, Dual 2ghz, with 4Gb of Ram with FCP 7 installed”

FCP 7 is not officially supported on a G5, which could cause problems unless you have a few mac skills.

On the other hand, I have a G5 2.3 with FCP 6 running on it and I can cut footage from my HV20 all day and night smooth as butter. Effects and render times are horrendous though. No where near the realtime effects I get with my 3.0 octo that I have at work.
