You hit the S&Q button. That engages the slow and quick mode which doesn’t allow audio recording. You can dial in the frame in S&Q, so it is possible it was set to the record the same frame rate as your normal recording. It would not appear any different in the viewfinder other than disabling the audio. When you switched batteries it would revert back to normal mode.

I work on mid to low budget projects, both in house and on contract. My regular projects include footage from a variety of sources ranging from cell phone footage to a FS7 and every brand and blend between.

For the big batteries (101 to 160 watt hours) it is a 2 batteries per person limit, carry on only according to the FAA. However, it always depends on TSA agents at security. They don’t all seem to know the regulations or enforce them the same. I usually carry printed copies of the regs from the FAA website.
It’s always a hassle. I almost always get flagged for inspection no matter if it’s V-mounts or only the BP-U series batteries.

Have you talked to your editor yet?
My guess would be that you would have some sort of IO device in your office that would work.
I use a BM intensity card for live streaming, although I have a portable desktop machine that is set up for it.

The Western Digitial box loops. The last one I bought was right around $50 bucks. Works like a charm for trade shows.

I also have a video on Vimeo that has that track incorporated in it, but have not had it taken down. Wierd that it is only 1 of 9 affected.

By shutter off, I meant it was in default mode, not one that I dialed in. It does have a clear scan mode.
I’ve just not experienced something that to my eye is a white light and to the camera is a rainbow.

[Mark Suszko] “It’s my opinion that the advertisers did too many pre-game reveals of the spots, which took away much of the mystery and anticipation once the spots appeared in the game”
Agreed. My favorite were the T-Mobile ads featuring Tebow in their no contract push. I saw them days before the big game, but I still laughed when they came on.

October 31, 2013 at 3:23 am in reply to: Does Black Magic Intensity Pro Card allow Premier Pro CC to output to HDMI monitor?I’m running OS X 10.8.3 and have no troubles playing back via HDMI in either FCP 7 or Premiere CC. In Premiere I just check the Blackmagic box in the playback preference and in FCP I use the blackmagic setting for playback.
I can have both apps open at the same time, but FCP usually says the card is in use by another program if I switch directly between the programs. Same is true if I’m using the intensity card to preview after effects work. A click on the finder than over to the other program fixes that issue.

I’ve never captured anything in premiere, but playback is fine. I have abobe CC and FCP 7 on my machine and the card works with both.
