  • I’ve been having similar problems. I’m not getting errors, but it is rerendering everything when I try to export, reference or self contained.

I’m starting to wonder if it’s my xdcam timeline set to render prores that is causing the issue.

I’d love to know if you solve this.

Is the graphic rendered as progressive frames? It should be rendered with frames set to lower.

also as you note the 23.98 should be 29.97.

We’re talking about the same thing. It just doesn’t stick for me. Or others at my office. I wish it did.
Thanks for taking the time to offer advice.

It only sticks for me if I don’t change my set up again. Every time I change my easy set up it defaults to 16 channels. So in theory I guess it would work that way if I was only using 1 format all of the time.

My work around has been to log all my clips than in the browser select the clips I want to digitize, right click and change the audio settings from 16 to 2.

But sometimes I forget and those empty audio tracks eat a lot hard drive space. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been burned by this.

It requires 10.5.3 if anyone else cares. Sounds like a cool plug-in but I’m running 10.4.11 so I guess it doesn’t apply to me with out quite a bit of time upgrading.

Is the Noise Industries Pan and Zoom Leapord only?

Holy smokes!!! You must have one heck of a filter set going on to get a 3 hour render for a 4 minute timeline!

Those camera’s weren’t set up proper if everything started at C0001. I know that is the default, but all you have to do is go into the menu and change it. For instance when I go on shoot I’ll have set it up something like 08DRY 0001. Once you set this, each time you put a disc in it just starts where the last one left off. So the second disc might start at 08DRY 0157.

It’s really quite simple and makes it really easy to find which disc is which especially when people don’t label the outside of the discs very well. (which I am very much known for).

I’m not sure what’s different, but I get 2:1 or even 2.3:1 transfer speeds using the drive. It’s way faster than transferring from a camera or a deck.

I’m running an 2007 octo with 8 gigs of ram hooked to an apple xraid 3tb. My drives are 70% full.

Forgot to mention that I got those transfer speeds on a dual 2.0 G5 as well before upgrading to the octo.

I’ve been using the drive since last september. Now if only they would release the firmware for making the drive writable

Yeah, that’s exactly why I sold my vx2000 and bought an HV20 for home use.
