Beautiful – worked perfectly! Thanks, Shane!

  • Good to know – Thanks, again.

  • Ok. Thanks, Michael.

  • Thanks for your reply, Rob.

Still no solution to the issue, but I just pulled the effects off of all the clips (they were just there for ‘placeholders’ to give the client an idea of how the image would look when treated). We’re going to hire a Correctionist to do a final (proper) color pass, so it’s not a big deal.

If for some reason we need to go back to these, we’ll call AJA.

    Thanks again!

Just before I read your post, we did exactly that – and guess what.. No media ever made it to the card! we are having the camera looked at on Monday – thanks for helping us trouble shoot, Shane!

Hi Shane, thank you for your response – No, we didn’t install anything new. When I hit the add folder (or, even choose ‘Add Custom Path” on the right), the folder (sometimes) shows up on the left, but when it does, it doesn’t show the clips, or allow me to “Add selection to cue”.

It’s very bizarre. We even tried copying the Contents, etc folder to the desktop (in case it was an issue with the drive or the USB port), and still the same thing happens.

    Thanks again for responding…

Thank you James – We found it! However, it didn’t solve the problem, lol.

We trashed the plugin, trashed all our FCP preferences, re-installed the plugin, re-started, re-launched FCP, still no luck.

Maybe it’s a Snow Leopard thing – We’re running 10.6.3 and FCP 6.0.5… hmmm. Thanks anyhow for the response, though!

Hi James – Did you use a utility to uninstall the plugin? Or, did you just drag it to the trash and re-download / re-install it? (and, if so, what is the name of the file, and where is it found? We just looked in the FCP User Data -> Plugins folder, and it’s not in there(?)

    Thanks for any insight

We’re having the same problem / error – Anyone else find a different workaround?
