Thank you guys for good quality info. Many have pointed me twoard the Hitachi deskstar 7K2000 2TB.
The price is right and I plan to buy 4 of them for my Mac Pro, and another 4 for a Drobo S. That should
give me 8TB all backed up. Thank you so much for your help.

Thanks for the info zane,

the timeline is 720×480 using the DV/DVCPRO compressor.
The logo is a PSD, the background video is HDV 1080 24 with that codec.
I’m working with mixed video, (HDV/SD) and logo’s
are layered in on top of it all.

Does this help?
I have FCS2, do I need to use another program?

Hey andy.
If your using FCP studio 2, your in luck because there is
a bad TV filter that will give you roll control.

Filters > video > bad TV

It takes tweaking, to get it right, but it’s a quick and dirty
effect.
