Second part: Didn’t understand Track Z or Automation

Third part: I tried volume envelope but it kept affecting the entire audio bus, not my individual track.

Somehow I figured out how to use the Bezier mask. I was able to connect the keyframes together.

This is not easy coming from the Macrosystem environment.

Can I jump in here? I do have the pro version and I just want to add a simple black matte at bottom of video. Do I have to get into the keyframing for this?

My basement pc, which is custom-built 2 yrs ago from Aeoncraft, successfully burned my first BD-R!

There are 4 differences between my Aeoncraft pc and my new HP:

1)Aeoncraft: 32bit; HP:64bit

2)Aeoncraft: wired mouse; HP: wireless mouse

3)Aeoncraft:custom-built; HP: full of bloatware

4)Aeoncraft:Installed bundled dvd software with Blu-Ray burner
HP: did not install the bundle

So I eliminated 2 of 4. I installed a wired mouse because of slight lagging and uninstalled the bundle. HP still locked up when clicking “Make DVD”

I am going to do two more things and then I can move on.
1)Build and render a project using the HP, transfer it the Aeoncraft, build the dvd menu and burn to Blu-Ray.

2)again contact Sony Creative Support about this issue

3) I am also open to a dual 32/64bit environment, I just don’t know how to do it.

Bad news continues

Sony had me registered but confirmed that no separate registration was necessary for AC-3.

They had me remove all Vegas/Arch related programs from the registry and do a full re-install.

Programs contine to lock up. I don’t know what else to try other than create projects with Vegas on my office pc and then use DVD Architect on my basement pc, installing Blu-Ray there.

Thoughts?

I just downloaded Vegas Pro 8.1 which is the 64 bit version

I tried a basic HDV template with 1 minute of video and Single movie selected. Machine locked up the second I hit Make DVD.

Then I thought it might be the burner because I put a new Sony Blu-Ray burner in.

So I did a disc burn from my Sony avchd camcorder and it recognized the drive. I only burned to SD dvd though.

Has anyone successfully used AVCHD files with Sony DVD Architect in a 64 bit Vista environment?

Maybe a should try another burning software that would recognize AVCHD. Windows Movie Maker did not although I thought it was supposed to.

I would like you to do the remote terminal thing tomorrow (Thursday) during the morning if you have time.
