Just. an after thought… I’m not an Adobe Audition user but I remember there being a function to align ADR with existing recordings by speeding up and slowing down sections of each track so they’d match – called automatic speech alignment or something like that.

If by playback resolution you mean you reduced the size of the timeline viewer then as far as I know that makes no difference to FCPX. Your only two options under the quality menu are “better performance” or “better quality”.
As far as the multicam goes have you let FCPX optimise the media?

No worries. I’ve edited a lot of 7D footage so there shouldn’t be any problem playing back that footage. Weird.

I’d expect your system to keep up although it sounds like you might be editing from your system drive? That can lead to weirdness at times.
Resolution would make a difference – h264 at 1080p is a different story to 4k and not all h264 encoding is created equal. Some camera footage can take more effort to decode than others. You might try letting FCPX optimise the media or create proxies and see how that goes.

I don’t know of any automagic way to do what you need. I can’t imagine any way for software to detect and compensate for randomly dropped frames. I think you’re stuck doing it the old fashioned way – by ear and eye with the audio waveform.
I’d split the audio track and do speed changes as needed to line it up as best I can.

First step would a;ways be to update to the latest version and see if that helps. Aside from that what codec are you editing and what system are you editing on? It sounds to me like maybe the hard drive or computer isn’t keeping up and there’s a small glitch as the angles change.
Does the glitch persist if you render out a small section?

The easiest way to find the power frequency in any country is google. Something like “Sri Lanka power Hz” should get the result you need. I think the U.S. is your only destination that’s not 50hz.
I’ve not used a C100 but when you turn clearscan on, you should also be able to set the frequency. Clearscan on any camera essentially lets you set odd frame rates to minimise flicker so if say 1/50th isn’t working you can dial in something like 1/51.2, etc.

I can’t remember where I got it from but there’s a series of free plugins called Brett’sFX (or something like that) and there’s a skin correction plugin amongst those. I use it constantly and prefer it to pretty much everything else I’ve tried.
