You need to change the output codec in QuickTime inside of Premiere Pro
Export Media
Format QuickTime
Video tab choose Video Codec – MJPEG A (or B) and play with the given settings.Best,

Where did you look for the file?
Often people are in the main library and not the user library.
Perhaps create a new user and see if the problem goes away?

I’m just going to add a little here.
In FCP7 you were forced to transcode to prores – so FCP could edit well.
Transcode to ProRes
Put in ProRes Sequence
Output in whatever format you like.Premiere Pro isn’t timeline/codec based in FCP was. If you want to work the prior way you could – with two encodes of your data – once to an editorial codec (such as Cineform, ProRes or DNxHD), once to your final output codec.
Transcode everything to ProRes.
Set Premiere Pro to create Previews (renders) in ProRes
Output in whatever format you like.BUT Premiere Pro can edit with the native files; for any previews, it’ll use the MPEG format – but when you output, it’ll ignore those preview files (unless you tell it otherwise) and output without any inbetween quality loss (by transcoding) to your output format.
Transcode nothing.
Edit in Premiere Pro – the previews (renders) will be ignored.
Output in whatever format you like.Only one encode of your data – meaning that elements like stills, generators and titles (which are handled uncompressed) only go out at maximum quality.
Best,
Jeff G

August 2, 2011 at 4:19 pm in reply to: Can you load your FCP custom keyboard layout into CS5.5?There is no way to load your keyboard map directly into Premiere Pro. There are no multifunction keys (like S= slip, ss= slide, sss= retime). You’ll (unfortunately) have to remap it by hand.

August 2, 2011 at 4:11 pm in reply to: making alpha channel transparent when importing in Premiere ProWhen you import a file with an alpha channel, it should show up in Premiere Pro with the information at the top of the Project Panel, something like this:
Video, 1280×720 (1.0), Alpha
00:00:01:45, 59.94 fpsIf this doesn’t help, a bit more information would be useful; I know you’re using the shot as a transition, but where did it come from, and how are you trying to implement it as a transition?
Best,
Jeff G

I don’t know of any Free ones. I’d suggest searching both youtube and Avid’s site.
Again, Script sync (and scripting) aren’t an ‘app’ – they’re part of Media composer.
The Script features permit you to import a script. Text or Final draft format.
Then you select lines + drag a take to those lines of a script. The manual mentions how to make marks manually or use scriptsync. As I understood it, the demo permitted a trial of both scriptsync and phrasefind.

Nope. It’s not a separate application. It’s really part of MC

July 27, 2011 at 5:16 am in reply to: Can I change audio from a stereo pair in a clip from the bin that im looking at in the viewer?Noam,
Actually (depending on the camera) Log and transfer does *exactly* what I said – you’re transcoding to ProRes (and uncompressed audio.)
The only negative(s) with L&T are a question of time. Compressor handles multiple processors/nodes better. MPEG Streamclip uses QuickTime and is a bit faster. Magic Bullet Grinder offers other advantages.
But essentially, yes, you have to transcode from h.264 (the HD format most DSLRs shoot) and compressed audio to (preferably) ProRes and uncompressed audio.
