Can you load your FCP custom keyboard layout into CS5.5?
Posted by Steve Cornell on July 30, 2011 at 8:49 pmBack in FCP, I created a custom keyboard layout. The file is a .fcmap. Is there a way to load this into CS5.5 ?

Final Cut Pro 7 keyboard shortcuts for Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 for Windows
Then make any custom changes that you had in FCP using this guide…

August 1, 2011 at 3:42 pmThere already are FCP keyboard shortcuts in CS5 and improved in CS5.5. Check out the Keyboard shortcuts dialog box.

August 2, 2011 at 4:19 pmThere is no way to load your keyboard map directly into Premiere Pro. There are no multifunction keys (like S= slip, ss= slide, sss= retime). You’ll (unfortunately) have to remap it by hand.
