Is the Kona 2 speced to handle 10 bit accelerated playback of Pro-Res ? Thats a lot heavier of a load than 8 bit.

Its only a benefit when you’re supporting legacy hardware/software that cost 50k and you’re still paying it off.

Remember HDCAM has already been compressed 7:1 so do your best to avoid compressing it again, ie ingesting it as dvcprohd.

How about if I have a final cut xml with clips and meta data, can that be transfered (with automatc duck) into a batch capture on say an avid media composer HD with the dnxhd card ?
