Has anyone done this? I’ll be working on a project where we’ll possibly be loading directly from the camera 1080p 24p -cutting in hdcam and outputing to hdcam. We have a Black Magic Decklink HD Pro PCIe.
    Any thoughts, tips, problems, precautions??

Remember HDCAM has already been compressed 7:1 so do your best to avoid compressing it again, ie ingesting it as dvcprohd.

Without a capture card you may find it a bit tough to capture video with timecode.

Oops, for some reason I thought you had an HDLink from Decklink, not Declink HD Pro card. Sorry for the confusion…
