Is there any way to get final cut 23.98 quicktimes with timecode into avid media composer with time code ? I’ve tried with the DNxHD quicktime codecs but all meta data and timecode is lost.

How about if I have a final cut xml with clips and meta data, can that be transfered (with automatc duck) into a batch capture on say an avid media composer HD with the dnxhd card ?

We don’t directly convert XML into anything an Avid can read, but you can bring your XML into FCP, then create a shot log. Use Sebsky Tools (you can find it with Google) to convert the FCP Shot Log to an ALE.
