I bit of a production note on the African Alphabet.

The original photography for various letters of the Alphabet were found on Flickr.com by a very talented photographer named Leo Reynolds. Would not want him to get upset–although I think he would like how I used them.

I did not do anything to enable the .ai file previews. But I do run Illustrator 9.0 along with CS2 (that also has Illustrator).

For my money the 3rd party plug-in called “Flag” (for $99)from Zaxwerks is the way to go. I’ve used it tons and with great results.

After you watch the file, this is where the computer saves it. Just copy and save else where…

Navigate to “C:\Documents and Settings\your-settings-name\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files” and look for “CC_Ribbon.fla” then you can copy this flash moive to where ever you like.

Couple of thoughts. Click on Kramers head and download the tutorial “Rendering Tips and HD Proxies”. This really helped me with the whole proxie thing.

The other thing is GridIron Software. This stuff has decreased my render times accross the board about 50%. Plus they have droped the price from $500 to $400.
