I also am a big fan of Roit Gear. BUT…also Serious Effects and Compositing, his color grading plug-ins, his realist cloud series. I’m a big fan. I little later today I hope to post a link to my newest demo (called Necropolis) it makes good use of all these products.

Yes. Your right, some type of repeated “B”. Truth is I could not hear it while editing within AE. But after the fact, there it was.

I bit of a production note on the African Alphabet.

The original photography for various letters of the Alphabet were found on Flickr.com by a very talented photographer named Leo Reynolds. Would not want him to get upset–although I think he would like how I used them.

Thanks for the repley. YOur info helped me fix the problem.

I did not do anything to enable the .ai file previews. But I do run Illustrator 9.0 along with CS2 (that also has Illustrator).

    Thanks again.

For my money the 3rd party plug-in called “Flag” (for $99)from Zaxwerks is the way to go. I’ve used it tons and with great results.

I prefer mov’s because you can archive and review some settings and tweaks you don’t remember after a while. This way we have to download the tut every time we want to review a detail and have to stress the cow servers then.

After you watch the file, this is where the computer saves it. Just copy and save else where…

Navigate to “C:\Documents and Settings\your-settings-name\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files” and look for “CC_Ribbon.fla” then you can copy this flash moive to where ever you like.

December 6, 2006 at 4:22 pm in reply to: Tips on DVCPRO HD work flow

Couple of thoughts. Click on Kramers head and download the tutorial “Rendering Tips and HD Proxies”. This really helped me with the whole proxie thing.

The other thing is GridIron Software. This stuff has decreased my render times accross the board about 50%. Plus they have droped the price from $500 to $400.

    Good luck!
