    Many thanks David for taking the time to reply. Yes….I beg your pardon I did mean 360,243 and the footage is 720×486. Regarding fields we seem get the best results by interpreting separate fields off & rendering with out fields. Is this incorrect? Do I understand then that the position of the footage is irrelevant as long as it’s interpreted correctly?
    Interesting regarding color space. Is there no capacity within AE for conversion??

    Hi Chris,
    Thank you for takin the time to write.
    I am actually well versed in CF and color correction in general after spending 100 of hours supervising telecine sessions.
    CF is OK for primary color correction (has always been very buggy for me) but I am interested in exploiting other AE filters and effects on mattes selections such as blurs and glows.

    Are you applying change color to a duplicate of the footage or to an adjustment layer?

    Thank you for writing. I see……the volume name is not embedded in the video_TS files, thus a “copy” will not add a volume name. Shall try Nero.
