    i feel the lens blur gives the light too much of a soft feathered edge. also image brightness drops.
    tinderbox is pretty good. still not as sharp edged as i would like it.

    i kind of mean.
    if i have a still/video shot of lights (traffic lights for example)- No motion.
    How can i then treat that video/still, to acquire this kind, of deeply out of focus effect.
    The kind of effect you would get if you shot a light out of focus.

    thanks for that, its quite interesting.
    i always thought that firewire out didnt mess with the quility of the image but the codec you used.
    would you have a clear example or test for this noticable difference?

    thanks for that. any idea which formats are 16bpc?
    also what kinds of things will i see the best improvement between 8 and 16. i cant always see any change.
