At first glance it looked like something AE should be able to handle easily, As its flat and somewhat common looking.

I would love to do this without external plugins. I’m not sure what you mean by — Vector “ribbons”? is this a plugin/preset?

I have CS6, also Particular.

Thanks for your reply, i do very much appreciate your time.

Sorry if i sounded abit annoyed its not how i am usually.!, i just felt at the time you didn’t attempt to understand the question and replied as if i was a two year old.

In Photoshop, How would you set up the workflow? Make a new layer for each frame? Would i need to make the previous layer 50% opacity – so i know where to position the next frame.

Ahead of time, i feel this technique would turn out too jittery, what would you say?

No its not an interlace issue.

Its a piece to camera. man with black suit taking to camera (Mid shot).

The background is an over exposed city skyline. the raw footage without the shadow/highlight filter plays fine (without any flicker, but requires lots of help to bring the bg into exposure.)

Only when i apply the shadow/highlight filter (manual settings!) do i experience some flicker over the black suit.

well i think it has something to do with my project,

i have tried to render this out on 2 pc’s. i dont think anything has been changed on my system.

Whats puzzling me is, why do i only get an image or memory error when i output to divx… not any other.

Hi,

Yes the project does have audio, and yes I did select audio in the output settings.

1024×768 is an excepted resolution with the divx codec.
