    Hello,

Ok, I have this seen in use quite alot in recent times, i’m sure you all have too.

    https://wemakeitgood.com/article/live/elijah

I want to know how for example the text ‘DOOR’ fluffs away like a cartoon cloud, also its very smooth.

Could someone kindly mock this up into a project file. I’m sure people who are as basic as me would love to learn this.

What i really like is all strokes and text done in the same style, have a thin outline around them.

what does one need to achieve this animation style?

I would like to post back with a example of what if learnt by the end of this thread.. Hopefully!

Thanks, hope i am not the millionth person to ask the same thing.

    Jat

    Hi Dave,

    Thanks for the reply.

I dont think you even looked at the link i posted. My question is in relation to this specific type of animation. (not any kind of smoke effect).

Yes i have been through all the tutorials posted. Maybe i’m missing something, according to your reply i should have all the answers in various tutorials…

Thanks for your reply, i do very much appreciate your time.

Sorry if i sounded abit annoyed its not how i am usually.!, i just felt at the time you didn’t attempt to understand the question and replied as if i was a two year old.

In Photoshop, How would you set up the workflow? Make a new layer for each frame? Would i need to make the previous layer 50% opacity – so i know where to position the next frame.

Ahead of time, i feel this technique would turn out too jittery, what would you say?

    Thanks for your help,

    J
