where do you get 10 bit. i just see 8,16 and 32? i’m rendering the tiffs now at 16 bits.

i didn’t touch the settings in toast titanium. it stated if you don’t know the settings then you can get good results from default. so here’s a question or two. what are some resources for the multi-pass and bitrate. is there a rule of thumb for the footage file based on mbs?

basically a second monitor to view output sd/hd video to burn on a dvd.
the second monitor will be used for color correction and if the footage goes beyond the title action safe areas.
there are so many options, thats why i was asking.
i dont know if i need a video card and any regular lcd computer monitor.
i’m pretty sure i need a video card. i was looking at the https://eshop.macsales.com/item/Blackmagic%20Design/BINTSPRO/.

but it’s the monitor itself i’m lost.
my budget is around $500.00 for both

any advice on budget from low to high i would appreciate.
