Awesome! Thanks for the quick response! That sounds perfect!!! I will try these settings ASAP. Is there any kind of “plugin” or any universal-type setting, such as” apply broadcast color bars at intro for seconds followed ny a tone” and if so, where do i get such things, i have heard of countdown leaders, smtp, bars, tones, etc. anything sound like what you would use as a standard for submitting to a tv station? thanks again for your help

Yes, but if you use Gridiron Nucleo Pro 2 https://www.gridironsoftware.com/NucleoPro/ you can access all of your memory. Also if you needed you could open up multiple instance of AE to get your job done, but you can only render one instance at a time more info here:

Hope this helped out!Jason Sanders

I work in 64 xp pro and have had no problems. I did this because of the 3 GB limit in 32 bit xp. with xp pro you can have up to 128 gigabytes….thats a little much but hey you never know!Anyways other than a couple of things you need to update; not in AE; it is worth it!!!

you have a couple of options inside of AE:
1. File>”Save frame as” and then reimport it.
2. Use timeremap to set a still frame from video
3. Right click on footage (when at point where freeze frame is intended) and choose time>freeze frame-*note*-I believe this option is only available in AE7 or greater.Hope this helps.

you could always:Take your object thats in motion
>duplicate the layer>mask around the object if needed>drag the duplicated layer one frame forward>bring the opacity down or change the mode(screen, add ,etc). and another option is playing around with echo and time displacement. i have made things work using this method, although there is probably a more precise approach to this effect, this is what i have used. hope i could help.
