My timeline setup is AJA Kona LS- NTSC 8 bit to DVCPro50

Sequence Preset: AJA Kona LS: 525 29.97 DVCPro50
Capture Preset: AJA Kona LS: 525 29.97 DVCPro50
Device Control preset: AJA Kona LS: 29.97 Sony VTR
Playback Output Video: AJA Kona 525i29.97 8 bit (720 x 486)
Playback Output Audio: AJA Kona
Edit to Tape/PTV Output Video: same as playback
Edit to Tape/PTV Output Audio: same as playback

I am using two external drives: a 500 GB G-Drive and a 500 GB Lacie, both running off firewire 800. The computer I’m using is a Power Mac G5 with an ATI Radeon 9650 graphics card, and FCP 5.0

I digitized footage, and would like to export specified single frames (stills) to be converted into j-pegs. Basically, I was wondering what the best way is to turn digitized footage into stills (jpegs) that are de-interlaced. I know de-interlacing stills can be done in photoshop, but I was interested to know if I could expedite this process and do it all with Final Cut Pro, and perhaps even export multiple stills at once.
