I just messed with switching the alpha around. It doesn’t seem to make a difference in how it looks.

I’ve noticed that before and it’s not the issue in this case. Of course when your text is animated, you can’t maintain position at an even integer anyway.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I’m viewing a fully rendered timeline on a Panasonic BT-LH2600W via Kona component output. The fonts aren’t thin and wimpy either–we’re talking Arial Black here.

I’ve been right clicking and choosing “open in editor”. Does the Motion project need to be closed before returning to FCP?

I’ve been on a contract edit for the last two weeks (using their equipment) and stuff is constantly going offline. When I modify a Livetype or Motion file -5o% of the time it goes offline instead of updating in the timeline. There have been plenty of crashes, freezes and slowdowns as well. What a nightmare.

I must have a setting wrong somewhere because it won’t work for me. It works fine if I stripe the tape first.

Can I do that without striping the tape? It works fine when I stripe the tape but when I try without I get “end of tape” or “no timecode” errors. I was hoping to avoid the step of striping the tape.
