It’s repeatable though, so unless my drive is falling asleep instantly (a narcoleptic hard drive?) I don’t think that’s it.

Yes, I set it up according to the documentation on AJA’s website.

  • [Jeff Bernstein] “Most importantly, the new Premiere drivers for Mac will allow you to work in 10-Bit RGB with RT effects. So imagine offlining in FCP and conforming with Premiere with the help of AutoDuck. Quack.

Moreover, AJA will also deliver the ability to use the Kona/Xena in either platform. They are no longer locked to a platform due to a termination of a facockta licensing agreement with an unnamed party. This will also allow for Dual Boot/Bootcamp fun and joy.”

News like this and all you guys want to talk about is the party?! There’s gonna be a party in my dual boot Mac Pro with this new driver!

I do some work for an ad agency where everything is shot in DVCPRo HD and downconverted to Digibeta, then captured uncompressed for editing. I wish they would edit in DVCPro HD and downconvert as the last step, but hey, what do I know?!

If you use a digital still camera for the time-lapse you can have enough resolution to pan and zoom in post. Obviously you can’t do dolly moves though…

Try going to Edit> Purge> All. See if that helps.

CC Sphere and CC Cylinder both have render options that allow you to fake the effect. You need two arrow layers with the star layer in between on the timeline. Set the top arrow layer render option to “outside” and the bottom arrow layer to “inside”. If you want to change the angle of arrow rotation, pre-comp the arrow layers individually and then rotate the pre-comps.

Make them both 3D layers, then move the arrow’s Z position away from the star layer. Add a null, make it a 3D layer and parent the arrow layer to the null. Animate the null’s rotation to rotate the arrow around the star.
