It wasn’t working for me, but then I FINALLY figured out that it’s relevant to the location in the composition. This expression only works if your layer starts at the beginning of the composition

How do you do this if you need to do a pendelum swing a couple seconds into the layer?

OK…too much to ask for a hard link…like a shortcut called:

“Reveal in finder…actually” 🙂

being sarcastic…I guess it’s asking too much for the company who makes the app to talk to the OS made by the same company?

I’m not a programmer…but this seems like a no-brainer.

If you go to preferences…you can check your “default keyframe values to linear” option…otherwise you can get some funkyness when 2 values remain the same…it puts movement in where you don’t want it….then use bezier when applicable.

I found this as well…reported as bug, preferences doesnt seem to affect still duration.

I was able to do something similar using the export queue.

If you make markers, then drag them to a folder and add them to export queue, you can use the in point and export still image from the export queue to send out frames. No need to copy in and out points.

How does this compare to the Matrox h264 encoder? Does it use it’s own, or apples codec?
