yeah I have tried everything and no look with my rendering issue, the rep said something to the effect of “its using too much of my cpu, it would help if i could put more of the workload on the GPU. Doesnt seem like theres too many ways to do that of course, I am about to leave my render entirely and start my next project and see if it happens again on my next project, then I’ll knnow its not just an issue with that one project or not

Heres what makes the least sense in all of this Joe, it always crashes at a point in the render than has no 3rd party plug ins, just a few plug ins used to make a transition that occurs over two adjustment layers.
I will have to keep at it and see if your advice about looking for the frame it freezes in the preview, hopefully I can figure this out, the only thing I can think, which has just come to me is that the motion blur that i turned onn on the adjustment layers might bne causing, if i remember rightly the transition uses AE’s motion blur but idk I can try disabling it to see if it renders but then how do i render it with the motion blur if that turns out to be the issue -
thanks walter I really need to improve how i organise all ym folders, that is very amatuer of me to overlook that and the point oof saving the auto saved project as a new one is very wise, thank you.
I only render it in AME because AE will always crash without fail when I render it in there,.

Ok ill giveit a go, I just got off of a 3 hour support session n with adobe and there specialist tried everything and just gave up in the end he has no idea why it is doing this

ok so I tried to render it as a jpeg sequence, beecause previously i was doing a tiff sequence and unlike with the tiff sequence i got this popping up
and it for some reason crashes when it tried to render a transition, i tried disabling it in the comp but it still renderred out, not sure if im doing that wrong -
ok so I started rendering as an image sequence in AE and it crashed at the same usual point, in media encioder it just stops the render but doesnt crasah, in ae it completely crashes the program. This is hard to figure out, what should I do mark?

ahh great advice mark, ill reasearch how to rnder as an image sequence, i iamgione that takees far less processing power
