thanks for the suggestions and quick responses…

tried to find the Avid Codec PE package, but could not find it so downloaded the LE pack instead.. did not work. the Versio of perian Rafael suggested was allready installed on my system so did not work either.

isn’t there a way to work around avid files on a mac in general?

that’s it than.. that was the mix up premiere vs final cut multicam..

unfortunately I’m on a work station which only has final cut. but i solved my problem by syncing each camera renderd it as a self contained movie and used the multicam, not a neat way, but it works..

thanks for all your quick responses

mmm thanks for the reply.. but is there no other way..im trying to avoid making each cam an individual movie as i’m editing in low res. so i can link and export the final movie in full quality in the end.
if i do it in the way you suggested, i cannot link back the individual files..
can i not make one multi sequence out of two sequences containing synced clips??

micheal and sam thanks for your response, and taking the time to answer

i’ve checked the xml tutorial but that did not do the job for me. in all my frustration i started playing with the khz and for some reason allthough my camera audio is 48000 and my final mix is also 48000 it seems to work for me that i have changed to 44100 and 16 bit instead of 32 bit and 48000,strange..

i have no idea why it worked but it did.. thanks
