I found another issue with the “FIX” (Right Click on Encore or Premiere Icon, and “Run As Administrator”……..

When you do this, You’ll find that if you use a Shuttle Pro V2 knob, it will stop working, as it is not not running ‘As Administrator’, which only prooves that this “Fix” is a poor patch…. and not a fix…

    Please Fix!

That statement is wrong in so many ways… DL from PPRO To Encore will automatically update Encore with PPRO Revisions to the sequence….

Importing into a stand alone Encore project won’t correctly do that.

I have done subsequent tests and I can’t frankly tell why Encore must work this way today, and didn’t 4 weeks ago….

I found one problem with this “Fix”…..

Run as Administrator does allow Premiere to DL to Encore successfully… BUT…..

If I “Run Premiere As Administrator” My Shuttle Pro V2 knob then doesn’t work!!

Methinks the better fix would be to not have to ‘need’ to run Encore as Administrator!

User Was Administrator…. (Just not Right Clicked and “Run As Administrator”)

And in my 10+ years of Adobe Products I never had to do that before…

    SIGH!

I had a similar issue with timeline updating, and V6.0.3 fixed it…

  • I am finding that YC waveform, with chroma turned off seems to be the hardest on the issue.

    An Addendum to the above….

Closing and Opening Audio Mixer isn’t the 100% Fix…
I had my reference monitor in Waveform mode. Changing that to Composite Video Fixed this 100% of the time, and changing it back to Waveform caused SHIFT Right & Left Arrow to become “Steppy” and not smooth…

The Audio Mixer wasn’t the 100% Fix, Reference Monitor Not in Waveform was the fix..

I have Audio Mixer in my Right Monitor of Dual monitor Workspace.

I found that if I close and re-open Audio Mixer, then the Shift Right or Left Arrow now smoothly shuttles Program Monitor/Timeline.

This follows the dual monitor workspace.
